Despite his successes in the studio system he has always stayed true to his roots in the independent film world. Since being discovered on the bus by Casting Director Sharon King for the independent feature “Scenes for the Soul” his work has been featured in festivals from Sundance to Urbanworld.
Winning awards and distribution. His latest one “The Abduction of Jesse Bookman”, which he also produced, earned him the American Black Film Festival Grand Jury Award for Best Actor and Best Film. With his blue collar work ethic, natural abilities, Leading Man good looks, and the grace of God he has been able to build a loyal audience and a brand that is respected by his peers, producers, and industry executives alike.
In 2011 he will take on directing, Release “Bedtime Stories” his first spoken work CD Publish “Faith, Sex, Work”, his second book, and produce “The Green Life” a eating to live series in honor of his Mother whom recently passed away from Colon Cancer.
